Niels Renard, aged 31, resides in Geneva, Switzerland, and stands as the co-founder of Lemoncha, a beverage company specializing in tea-based drinks since its establishment in 2016.

Driven by an enduring fascination for Asia, Niels discovered his profound love for tea through his travels. Enthralled by the myriad possibilities encapsulated within the Camellia Sinensis plant, his passion for this versatile brew blossomed.

Initially pursuing studies in medicine, Niels redirected his trajectory towards entrepreneurship, founding Lemoncha to share his adoration for tea and introduce its diverse world to Switzerland.

The merging of his dual passions—Japan and tea—is a dream come true. Having extensively traveled across Japan, from the southern regions in Okinawa and Nagasaki to the northern territories of Hokkaido, Niels cherishes his experiences exploring various prefectures such as Osaka, Shizuoka, Tokyo, Fukushima, and Miyagi.

Through Lemoncha, Niels forged remarkable connections and friendships, delving into the realm of Japanese tea culture. Overcoming language barriers, he established ties within the intricate world of Japanese tea, a challenging yet rewarding endeavor.

Today, Niels fervently endeavors to offer his love for tea and Japanese tea culture to his homeland, consistently seeking innovative ways within his company.

Beyond Lemoncha, he is currently engaged in a new project within the tea industry, a venture he is eager to unveil in due course.
